About Ecumenical Partnership for Housing (EPH)
EPH is dedicated to finding a permanent solution for homeless families in Green Bay.
We're not just managing the problem; we're solving it.
Through a community based collaboration between fourteen area churches and The Salvation Army, homeless families receive shelter, case management, mentorship, education support and budget counseling.
EPH is a comprehensive, all-encompassing program to help homeless families transition from a life of turmoil, turbulence and dependency to a life of hope, stability and self-sufficiency.
- EPH is a partnership of fourteen local churches, working together with The Salvation Army, to provide transitional housing to families in need in the greater Green Bay area.
- EPH has been providing transitional housing since 1992.
- EPH owns and manages fourteen family-size units.
- EPH relies on volunteer help to run its organization, and to maintain the units.
- A social worker from The Salvation Army screens families that apply, and places them in available housing units.
- A wide variety of educational and mentoring programs are made available to enable our families to succeed.
- Children are provided with a stable home, while parents pay off debts, acquire education and certifications, and pursue gainful employment.
- Each new family is welcomed with a hot meal and pantry staples. A local group, called Warmth From the Heart, has been providing individual comforters for each new family member.
